This summer we will not be holding dance classes.
Summer is a great time for you to expose your children to all types of dance. Watch for community events, ballets, or even dance movies or shows on television such as on PBS.

Continue to encourage free dance at home, have your child put on their own dance recital with friends- you be the audience! During this summer break take the time to encourage the emotional connection you or your child have to dance! Keep stretching and keep dancing!

Spotlights School of Dance and Theatre, now In the Spotlight Dance Center, offers ballet, tap, jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, competition teams, break dancing, pre-pointe and pointe, musical theatre, theater, theater set design and offers classes for adults, children, toddlers, beginners, intermediate, and advanced dance. Spotlights School of Dance and Theatre, now In the Spotlight Dance Center, is a dance and theater company that serves dancers of all ages in the Hampton Roads area, including Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Chesapeake. Spotlights School of Dance and Theatre, now In the Spotlight Dance Center, was founded to instill a love of dance and theatrics in a nurturing and positive environment. The director's goal is to make dance and theater available to everyone in hopes that through the arts, every students will take with them the confidence and esteem to reach any goal in life.
